Cell Phone Addiction

A new study finds that college students spend an average 8-10 hours a day on their smartphones—women are on the higher side—and warns of “smartphone addiction.”
Watching people’s behavior with their phones—their inability not to look at them while in an elevator on while stuck in traffic or walking down the street—I can easily believe that such a phenomenon exists….

The Mass Eye&Ear Infirmary reports that they have a real growth business treating injuries due to people walking into lampposts while using their smartphones.
Looks like comments containing links now go into an approval queue you need to check, or maybe you didn’t like those comments of mine

IHarry, because I don’t ask commenters to register, I’ve been getting a lot of spam. So I changed the settings so that if any comment includes a hyperlink (it used to be at least two), I have to approve it.
You wouldn’t believe the stuff that spammers have been posting.
Well, maybe you would. But it’s infuriating.
