Another unsettling quote: Patrick Witt, having turned in his thesis on Monday, has “officially graduated” from Yale. So what are the standards for theses, anyway? Anything on paper is good enough to graduate with? or is the thesis read, critiqued, defended, and only edits are necessary to finally submit it.
