Republicans aren’t as stupid as you might think and quickly saw this guy for the buffoon that he was.

Just like they did with Herman Cain and Newt Gingrich?
(Distinguishing here between the mass of Republicans and primary voters.)

Also, he’s still in the race-this is a brand new ad.

Well, Texans sure as hell are stupid for electing this turd multiple times.

Yes…exactly like they did with Herman Cain. Cain was irrelevant when he dropped out…that’s why he left. You think he would have left if he wasn’t trailing badly in all the polls? Perry is still in the race as in he hasn’t dropped out yet. But his candidacy is effectively finished. Look at the real odds on Intrade…
As for Newt…he is a serious candidate who has emerged as the only legitimate challenger to Romney on the strength of his performance in the debates. He is dirty as hell, but gives reasonable and well thought out conservative solutions to the problems of our nation. I understand if that isn’t your cup of tea, but at least give Newt the respect he deserves for actually running a serious campaign.
I am sure that given the liberal political slant of almost everyone on this board this commentary won’t be taken seriously, but thought it was worth the attempt.
