She’s 17. Adults mocking 17 year old girls is lazy humor.

She’s also a millionaire with immense influence over her millions of fans—including how they speak, dress and act. Satire is about taking down the powerful, no matter how old they are. And she’s putting herself out on a TV show—no one’s forcing her to go on Regis.
Fair game, IMHO.

Fair game, except when it is you, eh?
You should treat people how you would like to be treated, Richard.
That’s just an absurd comment. Anyone who knows anything about me knows that I’ve put myself out there in a hundred different ways, including writing this blog.
But I do delete a steady stream of obnoxious personal comments, all of which are from the same commenter—same as above—because they contribute nothing to the blog, they’re entirely lacking in substance, and because no one ever said that you’re required to take anonymous abuse on your own blog.

You are being ridiculous. And I absolutely do not post a steady stream of obnoxious comments. I simply don’t agree with you here. Geez, one disagreement and you freak out. I have a perfectly valid point.

Whatever… Anyone reading or writing on this blog is totally obsolete when it comes to the rhetorical concerns 17 year olds. You know? Like I was saying, grownups jusy don’t get it. Teenagers are immortal and they are not. just because i should have paid more attention during Junior English class doesn’t mean I don’t have something important to say.
