On the Road Again

I’ll be in Cuba doing some reporting for the next couple of days. Not sure if it’s possible to blog from there, but if it is, I will.
And thanks to all of you for your kind words below.

In the meantime, here is some homework for everybody. Indispensable perspective for people who might like to IN FACT not be mis- or uninformed on health-care reform:

and

The fact that no one around you will know that you’re mis- or uninformed should not prevent you from avoiding that state of affairs.
Let us know how the single-payer is in Cuba, Richard!
All our best to Sarah from here in Ohio.

Ah! Good. My comment is awaiting moderation. That means this one will also await moderation by the newly betrothed.
Please adjust the valediction above to read as follows, which was my original intent:
“All the best from us here in Ohio to foxy Sarah.”

This is not to be posted, just for your eyes. While in Cuba inquire about writer Jorge Olivera Castillo. There’s a story there.

if you access your blog or email in Cuba you can be sure the DI will have access to your password.
You may find it useful to talk to a fellow writer before you travel, Carlos Alberto Montaner
Don’t mention his name in Cuba, he’s not liked overthere.

Talk about blessings in disguise. Something you said once made me do some investigating. Tinnitus is one of the first symptoms (and I had others) of pernicious anemia which kills if untreated. My dad had that and it is hereditary. He had to give himself injections of B12 along with insulin. I’d just as soon not have to do that, thank you very much. Started B12 tablets today.
Sorry, guys, I realize this is off topic, but you might learn something by reading SITD you don’t expect to learn that can be a lifesaver.
