“White House Makes Last Push to Deregulate”
The new rules would be among the most controversial deregulatory steps of the Bush era and could be difficult for his successor to undo. Some would ease or lift constraints on private industry, including power plants, mines and farms.

Rich,
Which deregulatory steps of the Bush administration trouble you the most?

There’s not much good I can say about anything the Bush administration has done. That being said, I don’t see where they’ve made much of an attempt to undo much of our modern regulatory state. I’d argue that Bush has continued expanding our regulatory state. So my question remains, just what great catastrophes have we witnessed as a result of Bush administration deregulatory activity (as opposed to Bush administration incompetence)?
