Those aren’t completely analogous situations, since the Bills have never won a Super Bowl, and the Patriots have won three of the last five. The Pats have proven that they know how to prepare and how to maintain the proper attitude.

Anon 11:21, you’re giving Richard too much credit. If you click on the first link, you’ll find that it’s an article from last week about the Patriots allegedly struggling against overconfidence when they play…San Diego.
Richard, I know Giants fans are, of necessity, grasping at straws, but this is pretty lame. It’s not even about the Superbowl! I know it’s only blogging, but surely your standards aren’t that low?

Grasping at straws is right. The Patriots never over-estimate how easy it will be to win. They prepare assiduously. You can bet they are this time, too.
