Stone on Bush

Oliver Stone is pitching “Bush,” a movie about our current president.
Stone, an outspoken critic of the Bush administration’s invasion of Iraq, told [Daily Variety] he’s not looking to make an anti-Bush polemic. He said he wants “a fair, true portrait of the man. How did Bush go from being an alcoholic bum to the most powerful figure in the world?“
That’s a movie I’d like to see, actually.

That’s weird. First, I can’t imagine wanting to see Oliver Stone do something “fair” on Bush. I’d rather see him make another JFK out of this. Second, I just don’t want to see any more of Bush under any circumstances, saving perhaps that of a trial for treason, malfeasance or the like.

I think if his Bush movie could be called “Saw V” I’d probably like to see it.
