MIT and Harvard are in Cambridge or is the good professor too much time in Waltham to know the difference.

The writer didn’t say which city MIT and Harvard are in and his statement doesn’t depend on that. And the presence of Harvard Medical School in Boston is certainly part of the reason this is a great hospital city.
