Yet Another George Staffer Writes a Book about John Kennedy

This time it’s former art director Matt Berman.

Including myself, there are now three former George magazine staffers who have written books about John. The other was Rosemarie Terenzio, John’s assistant.

Both Rose and Matt criticized me for writing my book on the grounds that John would “never” have wanted to be written about by a former colleague.

So…I will write more about this later, but the news of Matt’s book only confirms what I suspected at the time: That these people’s expressions of “principle” were in fact acts of self-interest.

Unidentified Wild Animals on the Loose

Since the most recent winter storm, I’ve gotten a better sense of how many critters travel around my yard when I’m asleep or otherwise not looking: quite a lot. Last night I walked out into the recent snow and the property was criss-crossed with an astonishing number of animal tracks. Some—deer, birds—were easy. But anyone have an idea what this is?
