I Roll with the G-Men

Much like the team they root for, Eagles fans are a cocky, unpleasant, and semi-literate bunch. But these qualities can be used against them.
Hence, last night an Eagles fan bet me $20 on the Eagles-Giants game Sunday, giving me the Giants and 4.5 points, a swing of 9 points from the official spread, which favors the Giants.
I will happily take this lout’s money. And if anyone else out there wants to make the same bet, you know how to reach me.

Where did you find an Eagles fan? I was born in Philly, and I hate that team.
Enjoy the $20.

I’m tempted to say an unemployment line, but it was Facebook.

Your friend is an idiot who probably saw the line in the paper at 4.5 and somehow assumed that the Eagles would be favored. Idiots should be parted from their money as soon as possible. Well done Rich.

Actually, you could say it’s even worse: He knew what the line was.
As I say, overconfident.

I wouldn’t knock the unemployed. Especially in these times.
