Cry Sexism

Y’all saw Tina Fey do her Sarah Palin impression, right?
And thought it was pretty funny, I imagine.
Well, here comes Carly Fiorina, disgraced former CEO of Hewlett Packard and now McCain campaign toadie, saying that she thinks Fey’s impersonation was “sexist.”
...they were defining Hillary Clinton as very substantive, and Sarah Palin as totally superficial. I think that continues the line of argument that is disrespectful in the extreme, and yes, I would say, sexist in the sense that just because Sarah Palin has different views than Hillary Clinton does not mean that she lacks substance. She has a lot of substance.
Can we agree that Carly Fiorina should never, ever be asked to comment on anything of national importance? Or, for that matter, unimportance? Just, like, nothing at all?
If you must punish yourself, here’s the video.

The video of this Carly Fiorina person is horrifying. There’s some sort of time lapse between the words and her face, and the effect — given the rather obvious face lift, and complete psychic unease of the woman — is strangely Chucky-ish.

I now officially hate the McCain campaign and all their surrogates. Their names should be blackened by this bullshit for the rest of human history.

Fiorina: Hillary was victim of sexism
In an interview with Matt Cooper, former Hewlett Packard CEO/RNC Victory Chair/top McCain economic surrogate Carly Fiorina offers some straight talk about Hillary:
When I ask her what she thinks of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign—and whether the Democratic New York senator faced sexism on the campaign trail—her response is clear. “Yes. I think women in positions of power are treated differently, and the treatment of her demonstrates that,” she replies. “I have a lot of sympathy for what she’s gone through. A lot of women recognize she’s been treated differently, whether they’re Democrats or Republicans.”

Over the last few days, conservatives have been blasting criticisms of Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK) as sexist. Today in a Wall Street Journal op-ed, McCain campaign adviser Nancy Pfotenhauer wrote an op-ed titled, “Ignore the Chauvinists. Palin Has Real Experience.” In an interview with NBC yesterday, First Lady Laura Bush said that she wonders “if we aren’t already seeing a little bit” of sexism directed toward Palin. McCain campaign adviser Carly Fiorina said that “American women…will not tolerate sexist treatment” of Palin.
Apparently, this sexism is being perpetrated solely by progressives…at least according to the McCain campaign. Today in a press conference, Fiorina agreed that Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) has also been “subject to sexism.” However, according to Fiorina, none of it was done by Republicans:
I would absolutely say that Hillary Clinton has been subject to sexism. By the way, if there are facts that you can show me, I would be delighted to see them, but I do not think that, based on my experiences, what I have seen, I do not think that the Republican Party subjected her to sexism.
I think the Republican Party took her on on her stand on the issues, took her on hard on her stand on the issues. I have said numerous times, I disagree with Hillary, but I also have great admiration for Hillary Clinton.

If you read both of those thoroughly, she seems to be contradicting herself. It seems that way me anyway.
