  Quote of the Day
"I don't think anybody believes that in the last six years, all of a sudden Bill Clinton has become a different person."

—David Geffen, who, apparently, is without sin

"I want to run a very positive campaign, and I sure don't want Democrats or supporters of Democrats to be engaging in the politics of personal destruction."

—Hillary Clinton, in response

Comments:
I think it's pretty clear that Geffen's problem with the Clintons is a little larger than Bill's shameless philandering. Don't give me that "let him who is without sin" crap. If you raise $16 mil for someone and change your mind about them later, that's telling. Obviously Geffen doesn't carry as much weight as any number of other people, but it's not as if he's alone. Hillary is simply the most disingenuous pol most people have ever known. I have never in my life seen so many Dems struggle so much in the process of supporting one of their own. I have yet to meet a truly passionate supporter, and that's astonishing for any presidential candidate, even figures like Sharpton had passionate supporters.
