  Lieberman: He's Losing
A new poll shows Ned Lamont up by four points, 51-47...

While the poll suggests that Lieberman would do well running as an independent if he lost the primary to Lamont, imagine the pressure that would come down on him from the national party to bow out gracefully.

Sometimes, Joe, it's time to call it a day.....

Comments:
So, lets see, your advice is Lieberman should quit because he's in what is likely a statistical dead heat with his opponent? You probably want us to cut and run from Iraq too. Typical liberal tree-hugging wishful thinking. Joe is going to fight, and fight dirty if need be, and you mark my words: Ned Lamont is going down, never to be heard from again.

No, I want Lieberman to quit because he's running the kind of campaign that suggests it's time for him to go—dreary, uninspired, testy. The only rationale he can think of for his reelection is seniority and pork barrel dollars. Ugh.

Amen.
