  Now That's Ironic
The time on Larry Summers' e-mail resignation: 1:14.

Comments:
Huh? Are you waxing Biblical? Where's the irony? The beef?

Larry Summers' comments on women were made on 1/14/2005, and the debacle was subsequently referred to as 1/14, on the model of 9/11.

Though, if one were to get biblical, the possibilities are endless. For example, the fourteenth verse of the first chapter of the Bible is, "And God said, 'Let there be lights in the firmament fo the heavens to separate the day from the night." Or, we could turn to 1 Cor. 14, which begins, "Make love your aim, and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts." Truly, the ironies are endless.

To protect the innocent, let me specify that I am not a minister!

I do like some of the posts on this blog. You Harvard folks are not dumb!

The backlash begins--see the Wash Post editorial, "Prejudice Triumphs!"
Having done none of the reporting on the Larry Summers presidency, the Washington Post now is first to editorialize...

I can't find this editorial on the Post website. Do you have a link?
