She Won’t Quit

Despite the almost mathematical impossibility of her winning the Democratic nomination for president, Hillary Clinton seems to have no intention of dropping out of the race. I think the only thing now that will prompt her to do so is the realization that she is damaging her own reputation and legacy; she clearly won’t drop out for the good of the party or the country. It is possibly time for party leaders to come together and quietly whisper to Hillary that they will go public with their disapproval of her unless she gets out.The only problem is, Who are the party leaders? Howard Dean? Clearly not. Ted Kennedy? Already endorsed Obama. Bill Clinton…?

You’re forgetting Kentucky and West Virginia, where HRC is way ahead in the polls. If she dropped out now, it would be a huge embarassment to Obama. So (and this is what my sources on both campaigns tell me) she’ll drop out after those.

Can you explain how that would be a huge embarassment for Obama?

Think about it. He’s the presumptive nominee and he gets his clock cleaned after she drops out. Would not look good.

and she loaned her campaign millions which she can recoup by staying in and continuing to raise money….for her campaign for governor of new york!

Yep, she’ll drop out after she wins in KY and WV. That will end her campaign on a high note. A show of power, not complete defeat.

someone has posted on youtube footage from hotel security cameras that show Bill accompanied by very young females. What’s good ol’ Bill up to? the footage is dated between 2003 and 2007. Some of the girls look prettier than Monica though.
