Why a good move? They need middle relief, obviously, but his stats make it looks like he’s league average at best in terms of ERA and a career WHIP of 1.47 is close to very bad.

The Yankees are supposedly talking to the Phillies about trading Mussina (remember, he’s from PA). With Pettite, Wang, Joba, Hughes and Haren (trust me, they’ll get him), the Yankees have enough
