Yankee Dysfunction
Jonathan Mahler, of Bronx is Burning renown, profiles Hal and Hank Steinbrenner, George's sons, as they take over running the team.
One brother (Hank) is abrasive and big-talking, like his father. The other, Hal, seems completely cowed by growing up in his father's shadow.
Holy cow, does this situation have the potential to go very wrong....
(That said, Hank didn't trade away the Yankees' great young pitching to get Johan Santana for a year, and that's promising....) ¶ 11:35 PM
