You Can't Tell Me This Wasn't on Purpose

Could the New York Times have picked a less flattering picture of Hillary Clinton to run on its website front page?

(But it's a good choice; there's a lot to ponder in that picture.)

Comments:
The tummy is a problem, no doubt about it. I'm surprised, though, by how bad the clothes -- and most especially the shoes -- are. She looks like one of those preternaturally unstylish matrons in a flyover state who frequents the desert bar at Applebees just a little too often.

Anyone who can ponder dessert after eating at Applebees is a stronger man than I am.

Or how about the two photos on Saturday--a color shot of Obama, large and above the fold, and a B/W shot of Hillary's dark silhouette, smaller and further down the page.

Then again, nobody can match the NY Post for anti-Hillary photos. The woman must never pick her nose, because if she did, the Post would make it the wood the next dey.

Anyone who gets wood from pondering Hillary Clinton picking her nose is a better man than I am.

The media should be ASHAMED of their treatment of Clinton. Unfortunately (or, fortunately for Obama), they seem to have no shame. Except for Richard -- he has a little shame sometimes.

No tummy is ever a problem. And no woman has a tummy of which it is appropriate to speak publicly.

Those are my beliefs.

I also believe Mike Huckabee is going to WIN NEW HAMPSHIRE OUTRIGHT.

Standing Eagle

Standing Eagle, Will you marry me?

Standing Eagle, what makes you so sure she's a woman?

Well, 11:04, Salina certainly SOUNDS like a woman's name. But even if it isn't I'll be happy to marry you, Salina. It's a New Year and I'm accepting all offers, and homophobia is a thing of the past.

All of which makes me want to marry you even more, S.E. (And I thought 11:04 was talking about Hillary Clinton).

Good gosh. First her "cankles"* and now her poor tummy. Makes me wonder what it would take to trigger, in me, real sympathy for that woman...the first step would be to stop saying "kick her again, she's down" so often I suppose...

Kick her again, she's down.

*The merging of the ankles and calves.

She's still a total MILF

5:19pm - I just threw up in my mouth. Really.

McCain's wife, now there's a MILF. (Or Barrack's, for that matter.)

I saw her and thought "now there is a woman who can understand what mothers need in a president," as she herself is a mother (as evidenced by her shape, beautiful to anyone who has gone through childbirth, understandably difficult for some men to appreciate. ) I am not voting for her but felt I ought to recognize the greatness in her being a working mom (a mom who works outside the home,) who can reach out to other working moms and dads.
