  Portfolio on Boras, A-Rod
Here's a good Scott Boras joke, courtesy Portfolio.com:

The devil approaches Scott Boras and offers him a deal: The agent can represent any 10 ballplayers he wants in exchange for his immortal soul. Boras mulls this over for a moment, meets Satan’s gaze and snaps, “Okay, but what’s the catch?

Columnist Franz Lidz agrees that Boras has badly botched the A-Rod negotiations....

Comments:
Do you think Boras has botched the negotiations?

Hey, by the way, what happendd with Andy "Old School" Pettite? Does that blow a hole through your sentimental appraisal of him or what?

Not at all, 2:11. He's been consistent about either playing for the Yankees or retiring.

No he hadn't, not if you analyze closely what's going on. His agent is going to "retire" him then he's going to come out of "retirement". Have any idea where that model came from? The initials are RC -- and Andy's his biggest puppet. You watch.

Well, you may be right, but I'm not that cynical....so I hope you're wrong.
