Indian doctors have successfully operated on a two-year-old girl born with four arms, four legs, and extra internal organs, according to the London Daily Mail.

The photos are extraordinary...but definitely not for the squeamish.

Interesting to ponder why we are fascinated by "extraordinary" pictures such as these. Voyeurism and ponography come to mind. Likewise, Weegee, Diane Arbus. Regarding the Pain of Others. Or, alternatively, is it nothing more than "innocent" intellectual curiousity?
