Today's Crimson makes clear, in two separate editorial pieces, that Ryan Petersen's complaint at Drew Faust's Inauguration had to do with party funding. It sounded idealistic, but it was actually just petty.

Screw this Rosenbloom guy. Unsupervised drinking is going to happen regardless and the best way to deal with it is to bringing the legal drinking age back to 18, so that kids aren't forced to do it surreptitiously. "Kids have far too easy access to alcohol," my eye.

In addition, Harvard (anecdotally) has a much less significant alcohol problem than some other Ivies. I present to you the following article from the Daily Princetonian earlier this week: Public urination citations increase over 50 percent.

Now that is a school with easy access to alcohol for minors.
