  Drew Faust in Forbes
I'm a little late on this, but I should note that Forbes magazine has ranked Drew Faust #47 on its list of 100 most powerful women in the world. Here's the full list, which I wonder about: Oprah is not in the Top 10?

Comments:
And Meredith rates higher than Katie.

Presidents of Princeton, Penn, and Brown don't show.

They must decide how powerful College presidents are based on the college's endowment! (is that why Brown's President Simmons was left out)

Curious, also, that Bostonian Abigail Johnson, number 16 on Forbes' list of richest Americans (the richest non-Walton female in the U.S., and at age 44, holder of a controlling interest in Fidelity Investments) did not make the list.

I mean, she's no college president or anything ; )

I suspect it's because the succession picture at Fidelity is pretty mixed right now.
