  An Interview with Steve Jobs
On the iPod's fifth anniversary, Newsweek has this interview with the always intriguing Steve Jobs, who talks about how he got the record companies on board with the iPod and why Microsoft's new player, Zune, doesn't impress him.

What kind of a name is Zune, anyway? It's the kind of name that someone who isn't that cool would come up with in an attempt to be cool...

Comments:
Isn't that the name of the evil warlord of the Universe that the Scientology loons are pitted against? I hope so, because that warlord rules.

Evidence that Steve Jobs is one cheap motha:

"The way you can tell that you're onto something interesting is if everybody who knows about the project wants one themselves, if they can't wait to go out and open up their own wallets to buy one. That was clearly the case with the iPod. Everybody on the team wanted one."

"Open up their wallets"? They couldn't give their own design employees a free iPod?

Somehow I doubt that they had to buy one...

You're always taking Apple's side, you zunie.

Hey Rich, how does that kool-aid taste? Like apples?

Actually the scientology evil lord is Xenu. But same general idea.

Why do I know this?...

I like Kool-Aid.

I know all about Xenu...I watch South Park regularly. I also learned all about how the book of Mormon came into being...

And 25% of the population are morons. Hence, the 9/11 conspiracies. It's sad when you find more truth in an irreverent cartoon comedy than you do in the evening news.
