  Professors Under Attack
InsideHigherEd.com reports on a study about bias in the classroom—but this time, the bias in question comes from the students, not the professors.

According to the story, "There may be political bias in the classroom, but headed in the other direction. A new study — soon to be published in PS: Political Science & Politics — finds that students are the ones with bias, attributing characteristics to their professors based on the students’ perceptions of their faculty members’ politics and how much they differ from their own."

This is, I think, an interesting and important story.....

Meanwhile, here's a somewhat more titillating one: The former top fundraiser at Truckee Meadows Community College (that would be in Reno) is suing the college's president for discrimination after she refused to get into a hot tub with him....
