Adventures in Nepotism
Simon Rich, a Harvard junior and the son of New York Times columnist Frank Rich—Harvard class of '71—has landed
a two-book deal with Random House.
How'd the Lampoon editor do that? (I haven't been on campus in a while, but the
Lampoon isn't exactly prolific.) After all, two-book deals are pretty hard to come by in publishing these days.
I'm sure the fact that Random House publishes both
his father and
his stepmother has nothing to do with it....
