They Shoot Horses, Don't They?
They do now, thanks to a new law passed by Republicans in Congress which allows the slaughter of wild mustangs on public lands. Now the Bureau of Land Management has sold 1,000 horses into private hands and has 950 more on the verge of being sold.
Some of them are being killed for their meat....
I've been working on a story about Republicans and the environment for a new environmental lifestyle magazine called
Plenty, and I have to say, the picture of what the GOP is doing to the environment is absolutely horrific. And I'm no ideologue on this issue....
